Initial Research
PROFESSIONAL SHORT FILMS
To begin researching, I specifically looked at the Sundance awarded short films, as they are the most successful and professional short films out there. I watched 'Garfield', 'Lucia, Before and After' and 'The Strange Ones'.

The films plot itself is not very creative, as it only shows two characters and how they are after a one night stand, however I did still enjoy the short film and how the chemistry of the two had still been successful even with minimal character development. If this short film had a clear genre it would be a comedy, mainly due to the ending where they drive through her families area, where unfortunately he is left half naked due to the cold weather.
